Who We Are
Every day, hundreds of thousands of children in Burundi go to sleep without food and without a roof over their heads, thinking that no one in the world cares about them. There is a definite feeling of hopelessness among these poor children. These children are oftentimes left orphaned or destitute, having no one to take care of them.
You don’t need to look very far as these children are everywhere. The Orphans of Our Lady of Sorrows Foundation is a Catholic foundation that seeks to help destitute, orphaned children with no home in Burundi.
Our mission is to provide spiritual and physical support for these children.
The foundation seeks to provide shelter, food, education, and love for the orphans.
